It is not for everyone, but if you are willing to spend some time remodeling a home, you can gain great financial upsides. Some buyers remodel a home to increase their own living experience and others undergo the process to sell the property once it is ready.

In this blog I am sharing my very own remodeling process (Pictures below). We bought a $1,9M home in 2016, which we completely remodeled/renovated. We spent about $600K and one year to make this our dream property. We completely gutted the home and renovated it, which included removing walls, extending the property, a brand new kitchen and bathrooms, a new entrance, new flooring, a new pool deck and much more. Besides creating a better, brighter and more spacious home for ourselves, we increased the market value with 32%. With an $2.5M investment ($1.9M + $600K) we created a $3.3M home.
