Miami offers many ultra-luxury condos, but the areas with the highest concentration would be Surfside, Bal Harbour, South of Fifth and Sunny Isles. These areas have seen an increase in their luxury condos and many buyers prefer them over Miami Beach as they are still close to the action on the beach, but you go home to a more tranquil environment.

Brickell is Miami’s urban core. A very walkable piece of Miami with lots of restaurants, bars and shops. Brickell is also Miami’s financial heart so if you work in finance and prefer condos over homes, this is an ideal place to be.

It all depends what you are looking at, when you want to buy and how long you want to keep it. I’m not the kind of person that tell you that real estate is ALWAYS a good investment, because it is simply not. It all depends on the before-mentioned aspects and how much you are paying. If you pay top dollar at the peak of the market and want to sell two years later it will probably not be a good investment. Finally, the quality of your floor plan is very important. We spend a lot of time writing and analyzing floor plans because your unit is only as good as the floor plan it offers.
