High Pines and Ponce David both belong to unincorporated Miami Dade. This means that they do not fall within municipal boundaries. Both areas are often erroneously referred to as either South Miami, Ponce Davis or Coral Gables. Both areas are small and are nestled south of the Coral Gables Riviera area and west of the Cocoplum community in Coral Gables. Both areas are pre-dominantly single-family home markets.
High Pines and Ponce Davis offer several gated communities such as StoneGate, Oak Lane, Pine Manor and Ponce Road Estates
High Pines is a small area located south of SW 72nd street and north of SW 80th street. In the east is it bounded by SW 57th ave and and in the west by School House Road. High Pines offers high value home, many of which are brand new constructions. Homes here are still more affordable than in most part of the Gables and many families opt for High Pines homes for sale as they are close to many of Miami’s best private schools. High Pines Homes for sale seldomly are located on a lot that is larger than 15,000 SF and are selling between $750K and $3M.
Houses for sale in Ponce Davis are more prestigious than homes in High Pines. Ponce Davis is closer to the Gables and offers larger homes on larger lots (Many are larger than 20,000 SF). Ponce Davis Homes for sale are selling between $800K and $6M+. Just like in High Pines this area is desired with families, because it is a family friendly neighborhood close to Miami’s best private schools
