South Of Fifth Neighborhood Experience

All Neighborhoods

Overview

South of Fifth, often referred to as SoFi, is the southernmost portion of Miami Beach. The area covers five blocks on the Ocean that extend for six avenues west toward the intracoastal. Quite a small piece of land that is home to some of the most expensive condos in the whole of Miami Beach island as well as some of the most charming Art Deco buildings. Whether directly facing the Atlantic Ocean or overlooking the bay, many of those condo units offer some of the best water views. More than that, SoFi offers an easy and attractive neighborhood lifestyle both for the full-time residents and for those who choose the area as a part time home for the coldest months of the year. The best restaurants, from the iconic Joe’s Stone Crab to Prime One Twelve or Smith and Wollensky are located in this small quadrant, where everything is in walking distance and residents either walk or bike everywhere.

South Pointe Park is an extensive recreational area and together with the marina, the pier and the beach promenades this is just a constant invitation to the outdoor living for any age group. The neighborhood also offers an A-rated elementary school, which is loved by the residents and attracts many relocating families with young children. When it comes to choosing a neighborhood, SoFi its a hard one to say no to!
