Miami Worldcenter – The future of Downtown Miami
With nearly 30 acres and an estimated price tag of more than $1.5 billion, Miami Worldcenter will be the second largest urban development in the United States. It will include 1M square feet of signature retail, 4.5 acres of open space, 7,000 new parking spaces, one of the largest Convention centers in the US, an ultra-modern Marriott Marquis World Convention Center Hotel with 1,800 rooms, 600,000 square feet of convention space, and an 80,000 square foot outdoor event deck. As if this isn’t impressive enough, the area will be home to a brand new offering of top nightclubs, restaurants and other sorts of entertainment. To top it all off – literally – the Master Plan for Miami Worldcenter will include multiple residential towers with over 1,000 units.

Retail at Miami Worldcenter – A 750,000 Sq.Ft. mall, anchored by Bloomingdale’s & Macy’s
Miami Worldcenter has an unprecedented collection of retail offerings. The Mall at Miami Worldcenter, our signature destination, will feature 765,000 square feet of best-in-class retail, destination dining, and enticing entertainment. The project will be anchored by a 120,000-square-foot Bloomingdale’s and a 195,000-square-foot Macy’s, all in the most accessible site in the region.
Complementing the Mall retail experience is the 7th Street Promenade. It is a pedestrian-only thoroughfare that runs east-west through the southern quadrant of Miami Worldcenter, anchored by the new American Airlines Arena and waterfront on the east. Inspired by the world’s great pedestrian streets, the 7th Street Promenade builds on themes made classic by the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, the Place de l’Horloge in Avignon, and South Beach’s own Lincoln Road. The energy of the Promenade’s street life will be palpable, with European-style outdoor cafés, bars, restaurants, and boutique retail shops.
Developed by The Forbes Company and Taubman, The Mall At Miami Worldcenter will be the premiere shopping destination in downtown Miami, featuring Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, best-in-class retail, chef-driven restaurants, and world-class entertainment. This is an architectural fly-through of the center.
Hospitality at Miami Worldcenter
Miami Worldcenter will also be home to the new Marriott Marquis World Convention Center Hotel, featuring approximately 1,800 rooms and 600,000 square feet of meeting, exhibition, and convention space. This modern tower will have resort amenities, including an expansive pool deck with views of the bay, the American Airlines Arena, and the downtown skyline, as well as an 80,000-square-foot outdoor event deck.
